Alicia Kennedy is a Long Island-born writer and recipe developer focused on food, drinks and culture. She is currently based in San Juan, Puerto Rico.


In addition to writing for, Kennedy is a contributing editor for Edible Brooklyn and Edible Manhattan and her work has appeared in publications including Eater, TASTE, the Washington Post and Wine Enthusiast. Before writing, she worked as a copy editor at New York Magazine and Food & Wine and owned a bakery.


Kennedy graduated from Fordham University with a bachelor’s degree in English.
