METHOD OF PREPARATION:

3. Make a hole in the middle of the flour pile. Pour in the milk (with sugar and salt), melted butter and egg. Mix everything with a fork. You need to get a soft dough.
At this stage you can correct the consistency of the dough: if it is more liquid, add a little more flour, and if it is too dense, add a little more milk.
4. Gradually add the oil and knead the dough very well with your hands: for 5-7 minutes, until it sticks to your hands.
5. Grease the bowl with a little oil and place the soft, homogeneous and non-sticky dough, shaped like a ball, in it. Cover it with cling film and leave it to rise for 1-1.5 hours, until it doubles in volume.

Cover them with cling film and let them rest for 5-7 minutes (during this time the gluten will split and the dough will become softer, more malleable and will not "resist" during stretching).
12.Shape the pie: roll out each ball of dough into a cake. Then roll out each cake into a larger one, slightly smaller in diameter than the baking tray.
13.Then add a handful of Streusel topping (you only need to use half of it) on each cake, spreading only half of the surface of each of them. Then bend them and press them lightly with your hands.

Let it be a decade since I keep with me this memory of my meeting with the abbess mother, stavrophore Emanuela Oprea. To make my story easier, I pass it to the present time, a continuous and indefinite present, like summer afternoons in Vâlcea.
Recipes noted in a notebook
In the refectory of the monastery, the abbess gently discerns something from the typical meal of the monks who are needed at the Dintr un Lemn Monastery. The dishes are "cooked" because they are prepared only from fresh ingredients. The vegetables are from the monastery garden. The cream is just taken from the milk, the cheese is prepared by the nuns, the polenta is like a hot piece of gold. "On fasting days, the meal starts with cheese, cream and warm polenta. It is the elite aperitif for the monastery lunches ", says the abbess. Preparation: beat the egg whites with all the water and salt, and after they are on the table add the sugar and put a teaspoon of baking soda in the vinegar. Add the yolks and flour mixed with cocoa. Pour into the pan and bake. Meanwhile, make a sheet of four beaten egg whites with 250 g sugar, add 250 g chopped roasted walnuts, two tablespoons of flour and a little baking soda. Spread the composition in the tray lined with paper and put in the oven over low heat. For the cream, rub the four yolks well with 100-150 g sugar, 100 g flour, 100 ml milk, 2-3 tablespoons of cocoa. Mix well and cook (with a little chocolate) until thickened. Separately take half a packet of butter and sugar to taste and rub it foam, then add it to the black cream, after it cools (the butter should be added gradually, little by little). Put the top, the cream and then the foam sheet with nuts.
Cook waffles with apples and bananas in the dough
- For the dough:
- 1 kg of grated apples
- 2 bananas, ripe
- 3 eggs
- 125 gr melted butter
- 250 ml of milk
- 400-450 gr flour
- 5 gr baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- For the cream:
- 450 gr caramel sauce
- 1 banana
- 250 gr mascarpone
- 1 pinch of salt
Method of preparation
We prepare the dough for the Waffle Recipe with apples and bananas in the dough.
Peel a squash, grate it and put it in a blender with the milk. We turn on the blender and turn them into an aromatic puree.

We put in the bowl of the mixer the cleaned and mashed banana, the mascarpone and the caramel sauce and we mix them until we obtain a homogeneous and creamy composition. Let the cream cool until the waffles cool down. We assemble the waffles in pairs with a little cream between them and serve them with gusto.
They are very tasty and have a pleasant aroma from the combination of apples with cinnamon and bananas.

6 tablespoons oil (olive, sunflower) + grease the form with oil
¾ cocoa cane
3 teaspoons baking powder? If you know another quantity put less. I actually put 3 teaspoons of baking soda, because I didn't have baking powder. Maybe it's the same thing.
3 teaspoons vanilla powder (other spices)
¾ crushed apple cup, grind in a blender
1 and ½ cups agave syrup (another liquid sweetener). Honey is not indicated in high heat. You can melt sugar with a little water.
1 and ½ whole walnuts that will be ground, also in a blender, in heaps.
1 1/2 cups red / black beans dry grains that boil and drain perfectly well. The amount triples.
