Donuts with yogurt

Fluffy, fragrant and very easy to prepare!

  • 2 eggs
  • 3 lg sugar
  • 300 g fat yogurt (I had homemade)
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • lemon peel
  • 300 g flour
  • oil for frying
  • powdered sugar

RECIPE PREPARATION Donuts with yogurt:

In a bowl put the yogurt, lemon peel, eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder and mix. Add flour and mix everything without remaining lumpy.

In a high pan (of tuci or wok) put oil and let it heat up.

We take the donut dough with a spoon, which we pass through the hot oil every time!

When we serve them, we powder them with sugar or we serve them with jam!

  1. Mix the yogurt with the eggs, vanilla sugar, salt, baking powder and lemon peel. Mix well, then gradually add the fan, incorporating it into the dough. The final dough should have the consistency of a cream, neither too hard nor too soft.
  2. Put the oil (enough for the donuts to boil and float in it) in a pan with high walls. Allow the oil to heat well. Then, with a spoon, take the dough and pour it directly into the pan with hot oil. Turn them on one side and on the other and finally powder them with powdered sugar.

Recipe for fluffy donuts with baked yogurt & # 8211

  1. To prepare the dough for fluffy donuts with yogurt, we must first sift the flour in a bowl together with the salt. Dissolve the yeast in a little warm milk, mix it with a tablespoon of flour and a little sugar and let it rise a little.

2. Heat the milk and add the sugar, eggs, yogurt, vanilla essence, lemon peel and orange and mix with a wire mesh.

3. Make a hole in the flour and put the yeast and the mixture of milk, yogurt, eggs, sugar and flavors. Mix slowly, incorporating a little flour, until you incorporate it all, then put a little melted butter and continue to knead until you incorporate all the butter. Knead the dough well, about 15 minutes, until you get a dough with a slightly soft, elastic and non-sticky consistency. Put the dough in a bowl greased with oil, cover it with food membrane and a towel.

We let it grow in a warm place until it doubles in volume (45-60 minutes).

4. Divide the dough into 2 pieces. Spread a piece of dough in a sheet about 1 cm thick. With a round shape with a diameter of 5-6 cm (or with a glass) we cut the donuts. We can leave the donuts round or with a smaller circle (or with a metal stopper) cut out the center of the donuts.

5. Put the donuts in a tray lined with baking paper and let them rise for about 1 hour (leave a space of 2-3 cm between them).

6. Bake the donuts in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 9-10 minutes. We don't have to bake these fluffy donuts with too much yogurt! When the surface of the donuts has browned evenly and has a beautiful golden color, it's time to take them out of the oven.

I baked 2 donut trays in the oven. I still have dough left and I made some fried donuts.

Serve these fluffy donuts with baked yogurt sprinkled with powdered sugar.
