A look into this week’s notable restaurant openings

A new Max Brenner Chocolate Bar location will open April 11 at Garden State Plaza, making it the second location in the United States.

Every week, we take a look at some of the restaurants that have opened or will soon open across the country. Here’s this week’s roundup:

Located on the old Heinz '57 loading dock in the Arts District, Fifty Seven, a restaurant showcasing a rotating roster of acclaimed chefs from around the country, recently opened.

Chopped Chef Maneet Chauhan is opening her first restaurant, an Indian-inspired microbrewery and gastropub called Chauhan Ale & Masala House sometime in June 2014. The restaurant will feature Indian-influenced cuisine paired with house-brewed Indian-spiced beers.

Celebrating the Bronx Bombers’ 2014 home opener on April 7, NYY Steak Manhattan is offering baseball specials throughout the day. For lunch, guests can purchase the Championship Plate for $27, which includes a 27-ounce char-grilled long bone rib eye, choice of cocktail, beer, or glass of wine, and a voucher redeemable for two free tickets to a Yankees home game.

A new Max Brenner Chocolate Bar location will open April 11 at Garden State Plaza, making it the second Chocolate Bar in the United States.

On April 26, the opening day of the baseball season, the usual food vendors that park at Red Hook athletic fields will be open for the season.

Seafood restaurant Tiny Fork on the Lower Easy Side recently closed, and will be replaced with a Southern-style restaurant called Biscuits and Bourbon, expected to serve both of these items on its menu.
